In God's Word, in Matthew 19:13-14, "Little children were brought for Jesus to lay his hands on them and pray. But the disciples scolded those who brought them. "Don't bother him," they said. But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and don't prevent them. For of such is the Kingdom of Heaven." (LVB)
Children are important to Jesus, and they are important to us at Shepherd of the Valley. We meet every Sunday for Kidz Ark (age group 6 to 11 year olds), where we learn about the love of God and how the children can apply it to their lives. Also, we learn of Missionaries in foreign countries who share the gospel of Jesus Christ and how our group can spread the gospel through our prayers and offerings. There is a separate class for the 4 and 5 year olds that also meets at that time.
